Arsenal keen on signing 25-year-old Premier League star next year – report
Arsenal and Manchester City are both pondering moves to sign Burnley defender James Tarkowski, say reports

Arsenal and Manchester City are both considering moves to try and sign Burnley defender James Tarkowski next summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Times is reporting that both of the Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on the 25-year-old and could make moves to try and lure him away from Turf Moor next year.
The same report says that Burnley will not consider selling the central defender in the January transfer window but that they could be more open to a transfer in the summer.
Arsenal are believed to be on the lookout for defensive reinforcements in 2018 as Per Mertesacker approaches the end of his Gunners career.
The defender has been in good form for Burnley so far this season, featuring in all 18 of the club’s Premier League games.
Both Arsenal and Manchester City are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as the January transfer window draws nearer.
The Gunners could be set to bolster their squad after they only ended up signing two players in the summer transfer window – Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette.
Arsenal have not won the Premier League since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
