Arsene Wenger will be given as much as £100m to spend on signing new players for Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Star is claiming that Wenger will have a huge budget to splash on new signings in the coming months as he looks to strengthen his squad ahead of next season.

The story claims that Arsenal have already agreed the transfer of Schalke left-back Sead Kolasinac this summer but says that he will “not be the only arrival”.

The article also goes on to report that the north London side are doing everything they can to tie Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil down to new contracts.

Wenger has agreed to stay on as Arsenal boss after leading the north London side to the FA Cup title with victory over Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday.

Attentions will now inevitably turn towards which players Arsenal are likely to sign as Wenger looks to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League next season.
