Top 23-year-old seeks Arsenal assurances before making Liverpool decision – report
The Arsenal midfielder wants Arsene Wenger to guarantee that he will remain part of the manager's first-team plans, according to reports

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to demand assurances from Arsenal about his first-team future before making a decision about interest from Liverpool, according to reports.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the England international will want to discuss with Arsene Wenger whether he remains a key part of the manager’s plans heading into the 2017-18 season.
Arsenal still haven’t reached an agreement with Oxlade-Chamberlain about a contract extension despite the FA Cup winners reportedly offering the versatile midfielder £100,000 a week.
The same article states that Liverpool and Manchester City are interested in signing the 23-year-old in the summer transfer window with 12 months remaining on the star’s current Arsenal deal.
Oxlade-Chamberlain moved to Arsenal in a £10m deal from Southampton as a teenager in 2010 amid much fanfare about his potential to become a world-class player.
The England star has failed to realise his potential at the north London club so far despite producing some memorable moments in an Arsenal shirt.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has scored 20 times in 194 appearances in the past six seasons at The Emirates.
