Ligue 1 expert backs Arsenal bid to sign top 26-year-old striker
French football expert Julien Laurens believes Alexandre Lacazette would be a good signing for Arsenal this summer

Alexandre Lacazette would be a good signing for Arsenal in the summer transfer window, says Julien Laurens.
The France forward is thought to be one of Arsene Wenger’s top targets this summer as the Arsenal boss looks to build a team capable of breaking back into the top four.
Lacazette is no stranger to being linked with a move to north London having been touted as an Arsenal target regularly over the past two or three seasons.
However, the 26-year-old has always remained loyal to Lyon despite the lure of Premier League football.
But there is a sense that the striker could finally leave the Ligue 1 side this summer and embrace the challenge of English top-flight football.
And French football expert Laurens believes the France international would be a good addition to the Arsenal team should a transfer go through.
“He would be a very good signing for Arsenal but I don’t know if he is what Arsenal need,” Laurens told ESPN FC.
Lacazette has scored 100 goals in 203 appearances in Ligue 1 since breaking into the Lyon first team in 2010.
Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a place in the Champions League.
The Gunners were 2-1 winners against Premier League champions Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
