Insider reveals Arsenal ‘only serious bidder’ for top 26-year-old star
Serie A expert Tancredi Palmeri sheds light on Arsenal's pursuit of Alexandre Lacazette this summer

Arsenal are the “only serious bidder” for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to Tancredi Palmeri.
The beIN Sports reporter has taken to Twitter to shed light on the France international’s current situation in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a summer move but Lacazette’s final destination remains unclear in what has been a dramatic couple of weeks for the Lyon star.
Indeed, the centre-forward appeared to be on the brink of a move to Atletico Madrid as a replacement for Antoine Griezmann before los Rojiblancos received a transfer ban from Uefa.
Ligue 1’s leading goal-scorer has since been linked with a move to the Premier League amid reported interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United.
However, Serie A expert Palmeri has taken to Twitter to suggest that the Gunners are the only club prepared to make their interest concrete so far this summer.
“Lacazette breakdown:
-done to Atletico to replace Greizmann to Manchester United
-Cas sentence,deals cancelled
-Arsenal only serious bidder”
Lacazette has scored a staggering 100 goals in 203 games in Ligue 1 since breaking into the Lyon first-team in 2010.
Arsenal signed Bosnian defender Sead Kolasinac in their first summer transfer deal.
