Arsenal told to sign top 28-year-old striker ahead of Alexandre Lacazette
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger should look to sign Alexandre Lacazette ahead of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Craig Burley

Arsenal should target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to Craig Burley.
The France international has emerged as one of the north London side’s top targets in the summer transfer window.
However, Arsenal are thought to be on the brink of agreeing a deal to sign Lacazette with Lyon despite the striker’s eagerness to leave the French club.
Lacazette has scored 100 goals in 203 appearances in Ligue 1 since breaking into the Lyon team in 2010.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is thought to be a long-term admirer of the 26-year-old striker as the Gunners looks to rebuild after missing out on a top-four finish last term.
Speaking to ESPN FC about Arsenal’s pursuit of Lacazette in the summer transfer window, former Chelsea defender Burley suggested that Aubameyang would be a better option.
“I would have him [Lacazette] behind Aubameyang and quite a few others,” Burley said. “He has had a good few seasons at Lyon.”
Aubameyang has reportedly asked to leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window after Thomas Tuchel stood down as manager of the club.
The Gabon international scored 31 times in 32 games in Bundesliga last term but Dortmund could only muster a third-place finish.
