Man City still confident of signing top Arsenal star – report
Manchester City are still very confident of completing deal to sign Arsenal in the summer transfer window

Manchester City are still confident of signing Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez, according to reports in England.
The Guardian is reporting that the Citizens are still chasing the Chile international in the summer transfer window despite Sanchez being odds-on to remain at the Emirates Stadium.
The same article states that Sanchez is eager to play under Pep Guardiola again after the South American worked with the manager during his spell at Barcelona.
According to the story, Manchester City would be willing to cough up a fee in the region of £50m to sign the Chile international in the summer transfer window.
Sanchez scored 24 times in 37 games in the Premier League last term to finish as one of the division’s leading goal-scorers.
However, the 28-year-old forward has less than 12 months remaining on his current Arsenal deal to fuel speculation about his future before the start of the 2017-18 campaign.
Manchester City finished in third place in the Premier League table last term and three points ahead of Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal side.
