Alexis Sanchez wants to swap Arsenal for Manchester City to play in the Champions League next season, according to reports in Chile.
El Mecurio, as quoted by Sport Witness, is reporting that sources close to Sanchez have told the local Chile media outlet that the 28-year-old has one big reason for wanting to leave the Emirates Stadium.
The story goes on to reveal that the South American is determined to play in the Champions League next season, even though Arsenal failed to qualify for the competition following a fifth-place finish.
According to the same article, Arsenal’s inability to offer Sanchez the chance to feature in Europe’s top competition is the main factor in his desire to move to Manchester City.

The Chile star has less than 12 months remaining on his current contract so Arsenal could risk losing Sanchez on a free transfer next summer.
The Gunners striker moved to Arsenal in a £35m deal from La Liga giants Barcelona in 2014 after impressing at the World Cup in Brazil.
Arsenal signed Alexandre Lacazette in a club-record deal from Ligue 1 side Lyon last week.
