Arsenal squad expect top 28-year-old attacker to leave in January – report
The Arsenal players understand that Alexis Sanchez will be allowed to leave the club in January, according to reports

Arsenal’s players understand that Alexis Sanchez will finally be allowed to move to Manchester City in the January transfer window, according to reports.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Manchester City will make another move to sign the Chile international after the Citizens missed out on the 28-year-old forward in the summer.
The same article states that Pep Guardiola has not conceded defeat in the race to sign Sanchez after the Citizens failed with a £60m offer to sign the South American.
Sanchez has entered the final 12 months of his current Arsenal deal and the former Udinese forward has showed no indication of wanting to extend his stay at The Emirates.
The Chile star would be allowed to speak to Manchester City in January ahead of a potential free transfer next summer when Sanchez’s current Arsenal contract expires.
Sanchez scored 24 times in 37 games in the Premier League last season to underline his undoubted talent despite a controversial season for the South American.
The Arsenal star moved to the north London club in a £35m deal from La Liga giants Barcelona in the 2014 summer transfer window.
Sanchez has won two FA Cup crowns in three seasons during his Gunners career.
