Arsene Wenger has £100m to spend on one or two new Arsenal signings to improve his squad ahead of the 2017-18 season, according to reports in the English media.

The Evening Standard is reporting that Wenger still has a significant transfer budget to add some new players to his squad to ensure a return to the top four next term.

The same article states that Wenger is eager to add three new faces to his team this summer after the 67-year-old signed a new two-year contract with the north London club.

Arsenal have been linked with a host of top players in the summer transfer window since the Premier League reached its conclusion back in May.

The FA Cup winners are thought to be interested in signing Monaco teenager Kylian Mbappe but face competition from Liverpool and Real Madrid for the France sensational.

Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is another target as Wenger looks to improve his attacking options amid talk of Olivier Giroud leaving the club this summer.

Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season.
