Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol takes to Twitter to reveal that Arsenal want to sign Nice defender Dalbert Henrique this summer
Arsenal are interested in signing Nice defender Dalbert Henrique, according to Kaveh Solhekol.
The Sky Sports News reporter took to his Twitter account to shed light on reports suggesting that the north London side are chasing Dalbert this summer.
The 23-year-old impressed in the Nice side last season as the French club finished in third place in the table behind champions AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain.
Dalbert made 33 appearances in the 2016-17 Ligue 1 campaign in his first season in French top-flight football after a move from Portuguese outfit Vitória de Guimarães last summer.
Arsenal have already signed Schalke 04 left-back Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer this summer as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his full-back options.
Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol revealed on Twitter that reports in Italy suggest the north London side are looking at signing Dalbert.
Solhekol wrote: “Sky in Italy linking Arsenal with move for Nice left back Dalbert, even though they’ve already signed Kolasinac in that position this summer”
Arsenal won the FA Cup last season thanks to a 2-1 victory over Premier League champions Chelsea.
However, the Gunners finished in fifth place in the Premier League table to miss out on a place in next season’s Champions League.
