Arsenal are keen on a move to sign PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen, according to reports in the Italian media.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport, as quoted by Calciomercato, is reporting that the Gunners are keen on a move to bring the 20-year-old to The Emirates next year.
The same report says that Arsenal have been highly impressed by Malen’s recent performances and are willing to pay as much as €56m to seal the deal.
It is claimed in the same story that the Gunners could face competition from the likes of AC Milan, who are also said to be interested in landing the young forward in the coming months.
Malen has been in fine form for PSV so far this season, scoring eight goals and making one assist in the Dutch league this term.
He has also netted three times in two Europa League games this season.
Arsenal are likely to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as the January transfer window presents the Gunners with a fresh chance to bolster their squad.
The Gunners are aiming to break back into the top four this term after finishing fifth last season.
