Journalist suggests Arsenal could sell ‘interesting’ 28-year-old in January
Daily Mirror reporter John Cross believes Arsenal could sell Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window

Arsenal could cut their losses with Mesut Ozil to end the ongoing situation with the Germany star at The Emirates, according to John Cross.
The World Cup winner has entered the final 12 months of his current Arsenal deal after failing to agree a new contract with the north London side.
Ozil could leave the Gunners for nothing next summer at the end of his current contract unless Arsenal decide to cut their losses in January.
The World Cup winner has been linked with a move to bitter rivals Manchester United as Jose Mourinho looks to reunite with Ozil.
The pair worked together at Real Madrid before Ozil completed a £42.5m move to Arsenal from the La Liga giants in the 2013 summer transfer window.
The Gunners midfielder is also attracting interest from Serie A giants Inter Milan as the Italian club looks to reshape their current squad.
Asked about reports linking Ozil with a move away from Arsenal in the summer, Daily Mirror reporter Cross told BBC Radio 5 Live:
“Listen I do think he is an interesting player at the moment.
“Is he being selected? How injured is he? Arsenal are playing extremely well at the moment. Therefore you have this big asset.
“Do you cash in during January or let him go for free next year? He’s not Alexis Sanchez bracket at the moment because Sanchez is playing well.
“Arsenal need to look at it. If he doesn’t improve his performances, I think Arsenal should sell.”
Ozil has won three FA Cup titles in four seasons but the German star has struggled to transform Arsenal into Premier League title challengers.
