Arsenal consider £18m move to sign 23-year-old from MLS – report
Arsenal are weighing up an £18m bid to sign Atlanta United star Miguel Almiron but face competition from Inter Milan, according to reports

Arsenal are ready to rival Inter Milan for the signature of Atlanta United star Miguel Almiron, according to reports in England.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Arsenal are considering a move to sign the 23-year-old in an £18m deal but face competition from Inter Milan.
The same article states that Almiron is a long-term target for the Serie A giants so Arsenal could have quite the battle on their hands for the Major League Soccer star.
According to the same story, the north London side have made their interest in the Paraguay international known but will have to cough up a significant transfer fee to land the South American.
Almiron has scored nine goals in 29 appearances for Atlanta United since moving to MLS from Argentina Primera Division outfit Lanus early this year.
The Arsenal target is still waiting to score his first goal for the Paraguay national team after racking up 10 appearances for his country in his fledgling career.
It’s been a good week or so for Major League Soccer after New York City FC midfielder Jack Harrison earned a call-up to the England Under-21 squad.
The American league’s rising status is perhaps highlighted by the fact that both Manchester City and Manchester United have been linked with a move to sign Harrison in January.
