Arsenal and Chelsea still interested in signing top Bundesliga striker
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is set to target Robert Lewandowski as the striker looks to leave Bayern Munich, according to reports in Germany

Arsenal and Chelsea are still retaining an interest in signing Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski in the summer transfer window, according to reports in Germany.
German newspaper Sport Bild, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that Arsenal are the latest club to be linked with a move to sign the Poland international from the Bundesliga champions this summer.
Chelsea and Manchester United were touted as potential destinations for Lewandowski last month after it was claimed that the 28-year-old wanted to leave Bayern over a perceived lack of support from manager Carlo Ancelotti in the race to win Bundesliga’s golden boot.
The article in the German media outlet states that Arsenal are set to join their Premier League rivals in pursuing Lewandowski as Arsene Wenger looks to be increasingly ambitious in the summer transfer window.
The Polish striker scored 30 times in 31 games in Bundesliga last term to finish behind Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in Germany’s goal-scoring charts.
The Gunners have only signed Bosnian defender Sead Kolasinac from Schalke 04 in a free transfer in the summer transfer window so far.
