Arsenal ‘increasingly confident’ of making 21-year-old third summer signing – report
Arsenal are prepared to offer Thomas Lemar £100,000 a week to make the AS Monaco star their third summer signing, according to reports

Arsenal are “increasingly confident” of making AS Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar their third summer signing, according to reports in the English media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Gunners are prepared to offer the 21-year-old attacking midfielder a contract worth £100,000 a week in order to convince Lemar to move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
The same article states that Arsenal have already failed with two bids for the France international but the north London side haven’t been deterred in their bid to sign Lemar.
According to the article’s author John Cross, Arsenal would be willing to stump up a transfer fee in the region of £45m for Lemar, which would make the attacking midfielder their second most-expensive signing of all-time.
Arsenal signed Bosnian defender Sead Kolasinac in a free transfer from Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 earlier this month.
The Gunners added France striker Alexandre Lacazette in a club-record £52m deal from Ligue 1 side Lyon last week.
The north London side finished the 2016-17 Premier League campaign in fifth place but Arsenal managed to get their hands on the FA Cup after a 2-1 win against English champions Chelsea.
