Arsene Wenger wants Arsenal to sign promising 21-year-old midfielder – report
The Arsenal manager is interested in a deal to sign Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar in the summer transfer window, according to Emanuele Giulianelli

Arsene Wenger is desperate to see Arsenal add Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar to their squad, according to Emanuele Giulianelli.
The Serie A expert has been told that the Arsenal boss is a keen admirer of the France international after his excellent season with AS Monaco.
Lemar helped the French club to win the Ligue 1 title ahead of cash-rich Paris Saint-Germain and reach the Champions League semi-finals before a 4-2 loss to Juventus.
The 21-year-old scored 14 goals and made 14 assists in 51 appearances in all competitions last season.
Giulianelli is reporting that Arsene Wenger is keen on signing the midfielder in the 2017 summer transfer window.
“I can reveal Thomas Lemar’s interest was confirmed to me,” Giulianelli told Tribal Football.
“Wenger likes very much the Monaco player and he wants him and a top striker if Alexis Sanchez is to leave the club.”
Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a spot in the Champions League next term.
The Gunners have made one signing in the summer transfer window so far after Bosnian defender Sead Kolasinac moved to Arsenal in a free transfer from Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04.
The north London side won their third FA Cup crown in four seasons last month thanks to a 2-1 win against Premier League champions Chelsea.
