Arsenal told Chile star is ‘exactly’ the player they need this summer
Arsenal have been urged to try and sign Arturo Vidal this summer by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink says he can’t understand why a team like Arsenal does not try and sign Arturo Vidal from Bayern Munich this summer.
The 30-year-old has been one of the standout players at this year’s Confederations Cup in Russia and has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past.
Arsenal are thought to be on the lookout for significant reinforcements this summer as Arsene Wenger bids to try and steer the Gunners to a Premier League title challenge next term.
And former Chelsea star Hasselbaink says Vidal is exactly the player Arsenal need to try and sign this summer.
Speaking on ITV Sport, Hasselbaink said: “I don’t understand why an English team does not try to buy him.
“That is the kind of player you want to bring to the Premier League.
“That is the kind of character. That is the leader – that is exactly what Arsenal need.”
Arsenal have been linked with a host of players this summer but have so far only completed a deal to sign left-back Sead Kolasinac from Schakle.
The Gunners will have to make do without Champions League football next season after finishing fifth in the Premier League table last term.
