Arsenal in talks to make 26-year-old their club-record signing – report
Arsenal are in talks about making Alexandre Lacazette their club-record signing this summer, say reports

Arsenal have held further talks with Lyon about the possibility of signing striker Alexandre Lacazette this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Telegraph is claiming that the north London side are discussing the possibility of signing Lacazette in what would be a club-record transfer deal of £49m.
The same story reports that Lacazette is now Arsenal’s most “realistic” attacking target this summer, despite the Gunners still retaining an interest in both Kylian Mbappe and his Monaco team-mate Thomas Lemar.
It is claimed in the article that Lyon feel they are in a position to demand a club-record transfer fee from Arsenal, given the public knowledge that the Gunners are on the lookout for significant reinforcements this summer.
Arsenal have, of course, been linked with a huge number of players this summer as Arsene Wenger readies his team for next season.
But despite all of the speculation, the north London side have so far only confirmed the capture of left-back Sead Kolasinac from Schalke this summer.
