Arsenal are considering a move to sign Stevenage defender Luther James-Wildin, according to a report

Arsenal are considering a shock move to sign Stevenage defender Luther James-Wildin, according to a report in England.
Website football.london, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Arsenal are interested in a swoop to sign the 21-year-old defender this summer.
The same article states that the Gunners have been monitoring the young right-back with view to a potential move this summer.
According to the same story, James-Wildin wouldn’t put a big dent in their transfer budget given that the League Two defender will cost around £1m.
The report goes on to add that Unai Emery is looking to sign a right-back to provide back up and competition for Hector Bellerin.
The website says that James-Wildin is also capable of playing at left-back and in midfield.
Arsenal are working within tight financial constraints after the Gunners failed to finish in the top four last term.
The north London side lost 4-1 to bitter rivals Chelsea FC in the Europa League final in Baku back in May.
The Gunners snapped up Gabriel Martinelli in a £1.6m deal from Brazilian club Ituano earlier this month.
Arsenal are currently on their pre-season tour in the United States without their captain Laurent Koscielny.
Emery was appointed as Arsene Wenger’s replacement last summer.
