Arsenal will ‘definitely’ sign 28-year-old striker in deal worth €60-70m, claims German reporter
German reporter Stefan Uersfeld is confident Arsenal will complete a deal to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Arsenal will “definitely” sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in a deal worth around €60-70m, according to ESPN reporter Stefan Uersfeld.
The Gunners have been linked with a swoop to sign the want-away Gabon international in the January transfer window to bolster his attacking options at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal sold Alexis Sanchez in a swap deal that saw Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to the north London club on Monday evening.
While Mkhitaryan will help to fill some of the creative void following Sanchez’s departure, Arsenal need a proven goal-scorer to replace their marksman.
Aubameyang has been regularly linked with a move to the Premier League over the past two or three seasons following his prolific Bundesliga striker.
The 28-year-old centre-forward has scored 98 times in 143 games in the German top flight during four seasons.
ESPN’s German reporter Uersfeld believes Arsenal will sign Aubameyang in a deal wroth around €60-70m (£51-61m) deal.
“It is definitely going to happen,” Uersfeld told the Second Captains podcast. “It looks like they will agree to a deal worth €60-70m. Aubameyang will leave Dortmund. Finally, he will be happy.”
Aubameyang has scored 141 goals in 212 games in all competitions during five seasons at Dortmund.
Arsenal signed Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette in a club record £52m deal in the summer transfer window.
