Arsenal closing in on signing of star 26-year-old attacker – report
Arsenal are closing in on Riyad Mahrez as Barcelona continue to drag their heels in talks with the winger, according to reports

Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish newspaper AS is reporting that the Gunners are on the verge of beating Barcelona to the signature of the 26-year-old winger.
The report claims that although Mahrez has been in talks with Barcelona about a possible move, the player is said to be growing tired of waiting for a formal offer from the Spanish side.
And that means that Mahrez is set to turn his attentions back towards Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger thought to be a keen admirer of the Algerian.
The story claims that Barcelona have prioritised securing the signing of Italy international Marco Verratti from Paris Saint-Germain, and that is set to boost Arsenal’s chances of landing Mahrez.
Mahrez has made clear his desire to leave Leicester this summer.
Wenger is thought to be an admirer of Mahrez, who helped Leicester City to win the Premier League title in the 2015-16 season.
The Arsenal boss remained coy, however, when quizzed about claims that the Gunners could be set to bid for Mahrez earlier this summer.
