Arsenal manager Unai Emery wants to lure PSG starlet Stanley Nsoki to the Gunners this summer, according to a report
Arsenal are interested in a deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain starlet Stanley Nsoki, according to a report in France.
French website Paris United, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is reporting that Unai Emery is hoping to lure the teenager to Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that the new Arsenal manager is a big admirer of the teenager and is hoping to convince the promising centre-half to move to The Emirates.
According to the same story, the Gunners are hoping that the French teenager will be tempted to move to the Gunners with the promise of a “faster route to the top”.
Nsoki is predominantly a centre-half but the 19-year-old can also play at left-back so he would offer some versatility to the Arsenal squad.
Arsenal have snapped up Juventus and Switzerland veteran Stephan Lichtsteiner in a free transfer to improve their defence.
The Gunners have also signed Germany goalkeeper Bernd Leno in a £20m deal from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
Arsenal have also brought in Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Lorient teenager Matteo Guendouzi.
The north London side finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last term.
