Insider claims Arsenal will make fresh approach to sign 22-year-old RB Leipzig forward
Bundesliga expert Raphael Honigstein believes Arsenal will rekindle their interest in RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner this summer

Arsenal will make a fresh bid to sign RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner in the summer following their failed bid in January, according to Bundesliga expert Raphael Honigstein.
The Gunners were in the market to improve their attacking options in the most recent transfer window after Alexis Sanchez completed a move to Manchester United.
Arsenal sold France international Olivier Giroud to defending Premier League champions Chelsea FC in a £21m deal on transfer deadline day.
The north London side signed Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in a club record £56m deal from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in a hectic January transfer window.
German football expert Honigstein has claimed that Arsenal made an approach for RB Leizpig star Werner but the Bundesliga outfit immediately rejected the Gunners’ enquiry.
Honigstein, however, is confident that Arsenal will rekindle their interest in the impressive 22-year-old striker at the end of the 2017-18 season.
“Emil Forsberg has been in and out of the (RB Leipzig) team with injuries, and they’ve really missed him a lot,” Honigstein told Totally Football podcast.
“He is still a guy who really wants to go to the Premier League. He was very upset when Arsenal’s offer was turned down straight away by Leipzig.
“I think (Arsenal) will come back in for him because he has got a lot of talent.”
Arsenal lost 3-0 to Premier League leaders Manchester City in the League Cup final at Wembley last month.
The Gunners are in sixth place in the Premier League table and 13 points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
Wenger signed Dortmund striker Aubameyang and Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the January transfer window.
