Unai Emery’s Arsenal transfer budget for January revealed – report
Unai Emery will have limited funds to spend in the January transfer window if Aaron Ramsey signs a new deal

Arsenal manager Unai Emery will have restricted funds to spend on new signings in the January transfer window, according to a report in England.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Arsenal will have to limit their new manager’s transfer budget in the next window.
The same article states that the Gunners are concerned about the north London side’s ever-growing wage bill following the addition of five new players in the summer.
According to the same story, Arsenal will need to offload players to raise transfer funds if Aaron Ramsey puts pen to paper on a lucrative new contract at The Emirates.
Ramsey is thought to be on a deal worth around £110,000 a week but the Wales international is keen to secure a salary nearer to Mesut Ozil’s club record contract of £300,000 a week.
Arsenal suffered a 2-0 loss to defending Premier League champions Manchester City in their season opener at the Emirates Stadium last weekend courtesy of goals from Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva.
The Gunners signed Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno, Borussia Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira and Lorient teenager Matteo Guendouzi.
Arsenal finished in sixth spot in the Premier League table last term.
