Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol rates Arsenal's chances of signing Wilfried Zaha as '50/50'

Arsenal are “50/50” to sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha this summer, according to Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
The Ivory Coast international has been touted as a potential Arsenal signing throughout the current transfer window.
However, the Gunners have been unable to match Crystal Palace’s lavish valuation of the 26-year-old.
Arsenal’s initial bid of £40m was swiftly dismissed earlier this summer given Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s £50m move to Manchester United.
Palace are thought to be looking to secure a transfer fee in the region of £80m for their prized asset.
Roy Hodgson is under no pressure to sell the former Manchester United forward, making Arsenal’s task all the more difficult.
However, Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol has rated Arsenal’s chances of getting a deal over line as “50/50”, which appears to be a slight improvement.
Solhekol wrote on Twitter: “’50/50′ now whether Zaha stays at Crystal Palace or goes to Arsenal. Stalemate suits Palace more than Arsenal. Palace under no pressure to sell.”
Arsenal manager Unai Emery is thought to be keen to add width to the Gunners team this summer.
The north London side finished in fifth place in the Premier League last term in Emery’s first season in charge.
The Spanish head coach took over the reins from Arsene Wenger in May 2018 after the Frenchman’s 22-year reign at the north London club.
Arsenal lost 4-1 to Chelsea FC in the Europa League final to miss out on the chance to win their first piece of silverware under Emery.
