Tottenham complicating Arsenal’s deal to sign William Saliba – report
William Saliba wants to move to Arsenal but Tottenham's interest is threatening to hijack the deal, according to a report

William Saliba wants a move to Arsenal this summer but Saint-Etienne would prefer to sell the teenager to Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report in England.
The Sun is reporting that Arsenal have already personal terms with the French teenager to edge closer to their second signing of the summer transfer window so far.
The same article states that the Gunners may have reached an agreement with Saliba but Arsenal aren’t prepared to meet the teenager’s hefty £25m asking price.
According to the same story, Tottenham are prepared to spend £30m on Saliba in order to win the race for Saliba’s signature and infuriate their bitter London rivals.
The Sun goes on to state that Saliba has his heart set on a switch to The Emirates but Saint-Etienne would prefer to do business with the Champions League runners-up.
The report adds that Saint-Etienne aren’t happy with how Arsenal are structuring the deal for Saliba – and the Ligue 1 side want the player to return on loan for the 2019-20 season.
Arsenal are in desperate need of some improvements at the back following a mixed first season under Unai Emery’s management after the Spanish head coach replaced Arsene Wenger last summer.
The Gunners haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04.
