Arsenal transfers: Alvaro Morata coy on Real Madrid future
Arsenal transfers: Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is remaining coy on his long-term future at Los Blancos

Alvaro Morata has refused to shed any light on his long-term future at Real Madrid amid reports of Arsenal interest.
The Spain Under-21 international has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League leaders in recent weeks as Arsene Wenger attempts to bolster his attacking options.
I think the important thing is to have a relevant role in the team

Morata has scored three goals and made one assist in 16 La Liga appearances this term, although the 21-year-old has only started four top-flight games for Carlo Ancelotti’s men.
The Madrid manager has previously expressed his desire to keep Morata – but the striker admitted he will need to consider his future if he fails to tie down a regular starting spot.
“Real Madrid have been my team since I was little and will be all my life, but I think the important thing is to have a relevant role in the team,” Morata told Minuto 116.
“If I ever feel that’s not the case, I would look at other options. In football, it’s very difficult to stay at the top and even more so in a team like Real.
“Moving up to the first team is tricky, not everyone deals with it well. If you learn how to handle it, you realise the value of every minute.
“Maybe in five or 10 minutes you have to go on and be decisive in a game. In football every minute is golden.”
