Arsenal transfers: Wenger trying to bring in signings, says Ramsey
Arsenal transfers: Aaron Ramsey insists Arsene Wenger is trying to bring in some players ahead of Monday's deadlline

Aaron Ramsey insists Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants to add to his Gunners squad before the transfer window shuts on Monday.
Arsenal were 1-0 winners against north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at The Emirates after Gunners striker Olivier Giroud scored his fourth goal of the season to seal three points.
Wenger has only signed Yaya Sanogo and Mathieu Flamini on free transfers this summer, but Wales international Ramsey expects the Arsenal manager to try to sign players on deadline day.
“The manager has recognised that [we need signings]. He’s trying to bring in some players,” Ramsey told Sky Sports.
“He believes in the quality that we have and we’ve shown again what we’re capable of doing.”
He continued: “He recognises the quality in this team. We’ve shown again today that we have an enormous amount of quality in the team.
“Even though we probably are a bit short on numbers, and that showed in the last 20 minutes of the game. We’re a bit tired from the games we have played.
“But he believes in us and hopefully we’ve repaid him so far. Hopefully we can continue this run we’re on.”
