Arsenal transfers: Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo rules out a move for Santi Cazorla and Javier Hernandez

Atletico Madrid have ruled out making a bid for Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla or Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez this summer.
The Gunners midfielder has been linked with a move away from the north London club following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in a £32m deal from Barcelona last month.

Another Premier League name being linked with a switch to Vicente Calderon is Hernandez after the Mexico striker struggled to break into the Red Devils side last term.
However, Atletico president Enrique Cerezo, who sanctioned the £35m transfer of Diego Costa to Chelsea this summer, rubbished a host of names linked with the La Liga champions.
“Many names have been mentioned, but none of those players, neither Cazorla, Callejon, Torres nor Chicharito (Hernandez) are on our agenda,” Cerezo told Radio Marca.
“If we sign another player, it won’t be any of them.”
Last month, Cazorla, who joined the Gunners in 2012, attempted to play down rumours linking him with a switch to los Rojiblancos.
“I feel good, I am staying very happy playing for Arsenal and the team now is more strong with the new players and I hope we win the trophy for the fans,” Cazorla said.
The Spain international has scored 16 goals in 69 Premier League appearances.
