Manuel Pellegrini has ruled out the possibility of Edin Dzeko leaving Manchester City next month amid reported interest from Arsenal.
The 27-year-old forward has been limited to just seven starts in the Premier League this season but has still managed to notch up four goals and one assist in the top flight, including the winner against Crystal Palace last weekend.

Arsene Wenger’s search for a new striker has seen the Gunners linked with a January swoop for the Bosnia and Herzegovina international.
But Pellegrini has moved to end the speculation surrounding Dzeko’s future by stressing his importance to the Citizens.
“There was never any chance of Dzeko going in January,” said Pellegrini.
“He is a very important player for the team.
“If you look at the last month I think Dzeko was one of the players that played the most minutes in December. He has continued to a very important player for us.
“Always a player wants to play every game but it is impossible with the amount of games that we have to play.
