Arsenal transfers: ‘Gunners need one or two players before deadline’
Arsenal transfers: Ray Parlour urges Arsene Wenger to bolster his Gunners squad ahead of a testing run of games

Ray Parlour has urged Arsene Wenger to splash the cash and bolster his Arsenal squad ahead of a testing month for the Gunners.
The north Londoners are currently without the injured Theo Walcott, while Aaron Ramsey is expected to be sidelined for another few weeks with a thigh strain.
Wenger will also have to do without Mathieu Flamini for three games after the Frenchman was shown a straight red card in Tuesday’s 2-2 draw at Southampton.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with a £30m swoop for Schalke youngster Julian Draxler in recent days, and former Gunners midfielder Parlour believes that Wenger must strengthen his squad in order to compete with Chelsea and Manchester City.
“Arsenal have a very big month coming up. There are lots of games and obviously they want to try and do well in the Champions League,” Parlour told Sky Sports News.
“There’s Liverpool in the FA Cup and lots of big league games. They’ve still got Manchester City and Manchester United coming to The Emirates. They’ve still got some tough away games as well – they’ve got to go to Spurs still. So it’s going to be tight for Arsenal.
“I’m still looking at the transfer market and hoping that he can bring in one or two players before the deadline.
“Whether it’s going to happen or not, we don’t know. But Manchester City and Chelsea have definitely got better squads than Arsenal at the moment.”
