Arsenal transfers: Petr Cech will cost huge money, says Jose Mourinho
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says he won't try to persuade Petr Cech to stay if he goalkeeper wants to leave in the summer

Jose Mourinho says Chelsea will demand “huge money” for Arsenal target Petr Cech if the goalkeeper decides to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
The Czech Republic international has been limited to one Premier League appearance this term after Thibaut Courtois returned from a three-year loan spell at Atletico Madrid and claimed the number one spot.

Unsurprisingly considering his calibre and experience, the 32-year-old shot stopper has been linked with a host of Europe’s top clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.
Speaking at his pre-match media conference at Cobham on Tuesday afternoon, Mourinho said: “If he tells me he wants to go in the summer, [he is] one of the best goalkeepers in the world, huge money.”
While Mourinho reiterated that he wants the Champions League winner to stay at the west London club beyond the summer, the Chelsea manager revealed he won’t try to influence the goalkeeper’s decision.
“I don’t think Petr is a guy to be persuaded. I don’t think Petr needs anyone to persuade him. He will make his decision.
“When he makes his decision, he is very mature to make what he feels is the best decision for him and his future.
“I will just wait and wish that his decision is to stay. I would like him very much to stay. I don’t waste my time trying to persuade him.”
Cech won his 12th major trophy since joining Chelsea from Rennes in 2004 on Sunday as the Blues were 2-0 winners against Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup final.
