Arsenal transfers: QPR’s Harry Redknapp wants £16m for Loic Remy
Arsenal transfers: Harry Redknapp believes QPR striker Loïc Remy, currently on loan at Newcastle, is worth £16m

Harry Redknapp has put a £16m price tag on Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy, currently on loan at Newcastle United.
The France international has scored 10 goals and made two assists in 17 Premier League appearances since sealing a season-long loan move to the Magpies in the summer.
If someone came and offered £15m or £16m for him I’d sell him if it was my choice

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is thought to be keen to sign the striker on a permanent deal at the end of the season, whilst Arsenal have been linked with a swoop for the Frenchman.
Remy’s £8m buyout clause is reported to end in May, and Redknapp feels QPR should be looking to receive in the region of £15m or £16m for the Hoops forward.
“If someone came and offered £15m or £16m for him I’d sell him if it was my choice, but it’s not – it’s down to the chairman,” Redknapp said.
“I don’t know what the deal is. You’d think they’d want to snap him up, wouldn’t you? If they don’t then someone else will.
“For what we got him for, he’s probably worth double that now. He’s scored goals in the Premier League again this year.”
Remy scored six goals in 14 top-flight games for QPR last season after completing a £8m switch to the west London side from Marseille in January 2012.
