Arsenal transfers: Santi Cazorla predicts busy summer window

Santi Cazorla is backing Arsenal to strengthen in the summer and challenge for the title next season

Santi Cazorla is expecting Arsenal to be busy in the summer transfer window and is sure the Gunners will challenge for the Premier League title next season.

The north London side kept up their recent fine form on Monday night as they sealed a 3-1 victory over Hull City at the KC Stadium to keep their bid for Champions League qualification on track.

Arsenal will finish second in the Premier League if they win their remaining four games after ending up fourth last season.

Spanish playmaker Cazorla has been linked with a transfer back to Spain in recent weeks.

However, the midfielder has insisted that he is happy at Arsenal and is confident that he can help the north Londoners push for the Premier League title next season.

Cazorla told ArsenalFanTV: “We want to improve in the Premier League and the Champions League.

“I think if we play how we’ve been playing in the last 10 games then we have a great opportunity.

“I think we’ll sign new players, the team will be very strong and of course we want to win the Premier League and the Champions League.”

Cazorla has scored seven goals and made nine assists in 33 Premier League games for Arsene Wenger’s men so far this season.
