Arsenal transfers: Torino president Urbano Cairo is remaining coy on reports the Turin side want Juve's Fabio Quagliarella

Torino are remaining coy on reports that the Turin side want to sign Arsenal target Fabio Quagliarella from Juventus.
The Italy international has been linked with a move away from la Vecchia Signora in recent months after falling behind Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez in the pecking order at the Serie A champions last season.

Torino have made no secret of their desire to strengthen their squad after securing a place in the Europa League, whilst Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is expected to bloster his attacking options this summer.
And the Gunners have been handed a boost in their pursuit of the 31-year-old striker after Torino president Urbano Cairo expressed doubt about a potential move for Quagliarella.
“He is a very good player, but we have other options too. Perhaps we are missing the icing on the cake, but we have three or four interesting alternatives,” Cairo told Rai Radio 1.
“Our Coach Giampiero Ventura knows how to develop our players. After three years we reached the Europa League and he is giving his best in this environment too. He’s never been at a club for such a long time, but we are important to each other.”
Quagliarella has scored 23 goals in 83 appearances for Juventus following his move from Napoli in 2010.
