Jamie Carragher reveals his preferred outcome for Arsenal v Man City
The former Liverpool defender is hoping for a draw between top-six rivals Arsenal and Manchester City on Sunday

Jamie Carragher says that he is hoping Arsenal and Manchester City play out a stalemate at The Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
The retired defender’s former club Liverpool hoisted themselves above Man City and into third place thanks to a 3-1 win against Everton in the Merseyside derby.
Goals from Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi sealed a fourth successive home win for Jurgen Klopp’s side and bolstered their top-four ambitions.
Liverpool will now turn their attentions to the top-six clash between Arsenal and Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Klopp’s side are nine points clear of sixth-placed Arsenal as Arsene Wenger’s men face the real possibility of missing out on a top-four finish for the first time in 21 seasons.
Speaking to Sky Sports about Arsenal’s home clash with Manchester City on Sunday, Carragher revealed what result would work best for Liverpool.
“What Liverpool have done today… it means that everyone at the club can sit back and enjoy the Arsenal v Manchester City game tomorrow because whatever happens, you can’t lose – someone’s going to drop points.
“Preferably it would be a draw and they both drop points! It puts you in a great position.”
