Frank Lampard states his prediction for Arsenal v Red Star Belgrade
Frank Lampard looks ahead to Arsenal's clash with Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League on Thursday night

Frank Lampard is expecting to see Arsenal beat Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League clash at The Emirates on Thursday night.
The Gunners head into the game after having won all three of their opening Europa League games so far this season and knowing that a victory in front of their home fans on Thursday night would secure their place in the last 32 of the competition with two games to spare.
Arsenal have been in good form in Europe this season but have struggled to produce consistent performances in the Premier League, with Arsene Wenger’s men currently fifth in the table and nine points behind leaders Manchester City.
The Gunners will host Red Star Belgrade at The Emirates on Thursday before turning their attentions towards their crunch Premier League trip to Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
And Lampard is fully expecting Wenger’s side to get the job done against the visitors on Thursday night.
Writing in his column for the Evening Standard, Lampard said: “Arsenal were always going to cruise through their Europa League group but Olivier Giroud, who has found the net twice in three appearances this season, is helping them do it.
“I expect them to beat Red Star again but Arsene Wenger’s side can only be truly judged on what they do against Manchester City at the weekend.”
Arsenal have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
The Gunners finished fifth in the Premier League table last season but beat Chelsea to win the FA Cup for the third time in four years.
