Arsenal want to sign 25-year-old from Man United – report
Arsenal are interested in a controversial swoop to sign Manchester United centre-half Eric Bailly, according to a report

Arsenal are interested in a potential swoop to sign Manchester United defender Eric Bailly in the summer transfer window, according to a report in England.
The Sun, as quoted by the Daily Mail, is reporting that the Gunners are eager to sign improve their defensive options after an inconsistent first season under Arsenal boss Unai Emery.
The same article states that the north London side are interested in the Ivory Coast international ahead of the summer transfer window given that Bailly could be available in a cut-price deal.
According to the same story, Emery is well aware of Bailly’s talents having pitted his Sevilla team against the African defender during his spells at Espanyol and Villarreal.
Bailly has endured a forgettable season at Manchester United after being out of favour for much of the Premier League campaign under both Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Ivorian defender has made just seven starts and a mere four substitute appearances in the Premier League this season to highlight his sharp demise at Old Trafford.
Manchester United signed Bailly in a £30m deal from Villarreal in the 2016 summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old initially impressed in the Manchester United team before Bailly’s first season was cut shot during a 4-0 loss to Chelsea FC in October 2016.
