‘Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey one of Premier League’s star performers’
Jamie Redknapp rates Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey as one of the Premier League's stand-out performers this term

Jamie Redknapp believes Aaron Ramsey is arguably the Premier League’s standout player in the early stages of the season.
The Wales international was on the score sheet again as the Gunners secured a 2-1 victory over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday evening.
Ramsey’s strike took his Premier League tally to four goals in five outings, whilst he’s netted a total of eight in all competitions this season.
And former Liverpool midfielder Redknapp reckons Ramsey is emerging as Arsenal’s most influential player after a difficult couple of seasons following a horror leg break in 2010
“Aaron Ramsey’s goals make him the stand-out player at Arsenal, and possibly in the Premier League so far,” Redknapp wrote in his Daily Mail column. “I’m delighted for him.
“But these stats here also show that he is putting in a shift. He is joint top for the most tackles in Europe this season and third for the most successful passes in the Premier League, behind Yaya Toure and Michael Carrick.
“His stats are far above anyone else in what will be a very competitive Arsenal midfield when everyone is fit.”
