Arsene Wenger: Arsenal have gone through a nightmare
Arsene Wenger praises his Arsenal side for battling to a point against Manchester City after a "nightmare" week

Arsene Wenger heaped praise on his Arsenal side for showing some renewed “fight” to earn a 1-1 draw against Manchester City on Saturday.
Mathieu Flamini scored the equaliser in the second half to cancel out David Silva’s opener at Emirates Stadium and earn a point for Wenger’s side.
The draw game on the back of the 6-0 thrashing at Chelsea and 2-2 stalemate against Swansea City.

And although Wenger admitted his frustration at Arsenal’s failure to get a win in their last three outings, he was encouraged by their display against Manuel Pellegrini’s title chasers.
“We have shown we can fight and be united, that we can respond to adversity and they are the positives of the day,” said Wenger.
“The frustration we have is that we did not get the result we wanted, but overall the performance was there from the first minute to the last, and our attitude was absolutely spot on.
“We have gone through an absolute nightmare, a storm, this week. The critics come very quick and very hard, the only way we can deal with it is to respond in the next game, and that is what we did.
“It has been very bad, but as well very positive because it is always an opportunity to show you have some mental strength, so I am very proud of my players because they have shown that.”
