Arsene Wenger calls on Arsenal to ‘keep focused’ in title race
Arsene Wenger calls on his Arsenal players to maintain their focus in the race for the Premier League title

Arsene Wenger has called on his Arsenal players to maintain their focus in the race for the Premier League title as they look to preserve their four-point lead at the top of the table.
The Gunners travel to Cardiff City on Saturday aiming to make it back-to-back league wins after their 2-0 win over Southampton at Emirates Stadium last weekend.
“The players need to keep a good focus at the moment,” said Wenger.
“We want to keep the same level of urgency and hunger and we want to take advantage of playing earlier than our rivals this weekend.”
Wenger also insisted that Arsenal fans have no need to question his commitment to the club.
The Frenchman, who took over at the north London side back in 1996, is yet to sign an extension to his current contract, which expires next summer.
“They don’t need to question my commitment to this club,” said Wenger. “I can just reiterate what I said at the start of the season. I want to feel that I do well, and focus on that.
“It’s not exactly the same [as a player] because I have been here for 17 years, and I just want to make sure that I deliver to this club what the club is expecting.
“I’m relaxed about the situation. What is important is that the players have the support, to focus on the target which is to do well in every single game.”
