Arsene Wenger is confident that Arsenal have what it takes to catch Manchester City in the race for the Premier League title.
The Gunners find themselves a point behind Manuel Pellegrini’s league leaders heading into this weekend’s round of fixtures.
I am convinced we can do it. We just have to focus on our own run

Many have questioned Arsenal’s title credentials due to their failure to lift a major trophy since their FA Cup triumph back in 2005.
But with City still to travel to The Emirates this season, Wenger feels that his side still have a good chance of winning the league.
“What is for sure is we have played 23 games, and we are one point behind Man City,” Wenger is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror. “We are in a better situation than we were after four games.
“We are one point behind Man City, we have 15 games to make a difference on them. I believe we will have our chances, and what is even more important is we are fully committed to take our chances with full belief.
“I am convinced we can do it. We just have to focus on our own run – if you look at the schedule [then] if we are consistent we have a good chance to do it.
“You cannot speculate on any weakness in Man City in the coming months. So let’s focus on us, and our strengths, in the coming months. It is the way we must do it.”
