Arsene Wenger: David Moyes is dealing with Man United situation ‘very well’
Arsenal's Arsene Wenger issues his full backing for under-fire Manchester United boss David Moyes

Arsene Wenger has issued his backing for under-fire Manchester United manager David Moyes, insisting that the Red Devils are still a threat in the Premier League and Champions League.
Moyes’s men were knocked out of the League Cup by Sunderland on penalties on Wednesday, three days after the 3-1 defeat by Chelsea left them 14 points behind league leaders Arsenal.

But Wenger is sure that Moyes is the right man for the job at Old Trafford and believes the imminent arrival of Juan Mata will give the defending champions a much-needed boost.
“Many young managers come and ask me for some advice at the start of their careers,” said Wenger.
“And part of that, I tell them, is that you have survive massive disappointments and keep your belief high.
“To win is easy for everybody. How to live with defeat, that’s what managers are about and David Moyes is strong enough. For me, he deals very well with the situation.
“They’re going through a difficult moment of the season but they still can come back and are in a strong position in the Champions League.
“They just bought a great player [in Mata] so I’m sure Man United has still to be considered as a threat.”
