Arsene Wenger mocks Nani’s claims of a two-horse title race
Arsenal boss laughs off Manchester United winger's claims that the Premier League title is a two-horse race

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger responded sarcastically to Manchester United winger Nani’s claims that the Premier League title is a two-horse race.
Wenger’s Gunners sit in second place ahead of Monday’s clash with Chelsea at Emirates Stadium but the Portuguese midfielder believes United need only worry about the challenge from Carlo Ancelotti’s men.
However, Wenger, whose side are two points behind United having played a game more, was left unimpressed with Nani’s comments.
“Everybody has a different opinion in this league and nobody is perfect,” said Wenger on Thursday. “We live in a society where everybody knows everything and it is a shame to say, ‘I don’t know’.
“I personally don’t know who will win the league and I have managed 1,600 games. If Nani knows he must be 1,600 times more intelligent than I am.”
Meanwhile, Wenger hopes to have defender Thomas Vermaelen back to full fitness by the end of January. The centre-back has been sidelined since September with a niggling Achilles injury.
Wenger said: “He has been out for a long, long time. We are hopeful that he we will be back in January.”
