Wenger: Szczesny has responded to losing Arsenal spot really well
Arsene Wenger has praised Wojciech Szczesny for his response to losing his place in Arsenal's starting line-up of late

Arsene Wenger has praised Wojciech Szczesny for his response to losing his place in Arsenal’s starting line-up in recent weeks.
The goalkeeper has not featured for the Gunners since their 2-1 loss to north London rivals back on 3 March, with Wenger preferring Lukasz Fabianski and citing “mental fatigue” as his reason for dropping Szczesny.
However, with Fabianski a major injury doubt for Tuesday’s game against Everton at The Emirates, Wenger has praised Szczesny’s attitude since being dropped.
“[Szczesny has responded] really well,” said Wenger. “He worked very hard and worked very well. I do not want to make a case of it before the game. He’s handling the situation very well and in a positive way.”
Wenger insisted that he has complete faith in all of the goalkeepers at his disposal at Arsenal.
“I have total confidence, no matter who starts the game,” he continued. “In the past I have shown that, that I trust these players and trust that no matter who plays, they will show their quality
“We have three good goalkeepers. That’s been shown during the season. Everybody had the ability to show his quality and that’s what you want.
“Fabianski’s reflexes, his positioning and his decision-making has been great. We will decide as late as possible [on his availability for the Everton game].”
Fabianski has kept two clean sheets and conceded three goals in five games for Arsenal this season.
