Robin van Persie scored a late equaliser to help Manchester United secure a 2-2 draw with West Ham United at Upton Park.

Elsewhere, Manchester City closed the gap to 13 points on their rivals after a slender 1-0 victory over Wigan Athletic, while Chelsea moved into third place courtesy of a 3-0 win against Fulham in the west London derby.
