Top 22-year-old to have Chelsea medical next week and become first signing – report
Tiemoue Bakayoko is set to undergo a medical with Chelsea next week and become the club's first signing of the summer, say reports

Tiemoue Bakayoko is set to undergo a medical with Chelsea next week as the Blues look to wrap up their first summer signing, according to reports in the British media.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the 22-year-old midfielder is on the verge of completing a move to west London after the Blues agreed a fee of around £35.1m “in principal” with Monaco.
The west London side have long been linked with a move for Bakayoko and it now seems as if a deal will finally go through next week.
The same story states that Chelsea are set to offer Bakayoko a five-year contract to join the Premier League champions this summer.
However, it is also claimed that Bakayoko’s arrival at Stamford Bridge could cast doubt over Nemanja Matic’s future at Chelsea, with the Serbian said to be a target for both Manchester United and Juventus.
That’s because Bakayoko is said to have been earmarked as the ideal partner for N’Golo Kante in central midfield, hinting that Matic could set to be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea won the Premier League in Antonio Conte’s first season at the club last term.
