Birthday boy Juan Mata says Chelsea win over Swansea the perfect gift

Juan Mata has asked Chelsea for three points against Swansea City on Sunday as his ideal birthday present.
The Spanish playmaker, who turns 25 on Sunday, is determined to help the Blues continue their push for Champions League qualification with victory over the Swans at Stamford Bridge.
“Time flies, it feels like yesterday I was 20,” said Mata. “I think the best gift for me will be a victory [over Swansea].”
Mata has been in superb form for the Blues this season, scoring 18 goals and making 32 assists in 57 games in all competitions.
The former Valencia man has seen his impressive displays rewarded with a nomination for the PFA player of the year award alongside his Chelsea team-mate Eden Hazard.
Hazard, who has also been short-listed for the young player award, believes Mata would be a worthy winner of the prize.
“Juan is also nominated and he played very well this season, scoring and making assists. For me he has been our best player,” Hazard said earlier this week.
The winners of the PFA awards will be announced on Sunday evening.
