Paul Merson states his prediction for Bournemouth v Liverpool
The Arsenal legend is backing Liverpool FC to beat Bournemouth on Sunday

Paul Merson has told Jurgen Klopp that Liverpool FC will comfortably beat Bournemouth as long as the Reds boss doesn’t complicate his tactics.
The 18-time English champions have drawn their last two Premier League games to see their prolific run of form come to an abrupt end.
Liverpool FC scored 12 times in two games in all competitions thanks to emphatic victories over Brighton and Hove Albion and Spartak Moscow.
However, the Merseyside outfit squandered a 1-0 lead to draw 1-1 with Everton in the derby at Anfield last weekend.
Liverpool FC couldn’t find a way past West Brom mid-week as Klopp’s men were forced to settle for a goalless draw with the Baggies at Anfield.
Klopp has attracted criticism for his rotation policy in recent weeks, including his controversial decision to drop Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino to the bench for the derby.
However, Merson believes Liverpool FC should have enough quality to beat Bournemouth as long as the former Borussia Dortmund boss doesn’t tinker with his tactics.
“What a game this was last year. What Liverpool team is going to turn up this time?” Merson told Sky Sports.
“Bournemouth will have a go and if Liverpool play their best players they will be in a different class.
“Liverpool will win if Jurgen Klopp doesn’t complicate things. Who really agrees with that team selection in the derby? It was a joke. That’s why he went mad about the penalty.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to secure a long-awaited return to the Champions League.
The Reds signed four players in the summer to prepare their squad for a return to Europe.
